You should make the decision to remove these people from your life or minimize the amount of time that you spend with that person. Replace them with people who support your sobriety and bring positivity into your life. You should also fix any cherished familial relationships damaged by your past. Most things can be fixed with enough time and effort.
2. Focus on all aspects of your health
Sobriety is about living a healthy life. To help focus on your sobriety, focus on all aspects of your health. Start an exercise regime and start eating healthy. The emphasis on a healthy life will include remaining sober. Once you put so much effort into your body, you don’t want to put things into your body that will damage it.
3. Find creative outlets
Many people who suffer from addiction have emotions inside of them that the drugs or alcohol help suppress. Instead of suppressing those feelings, it’s best to find a creative outlet to express them properly.
